Mindful workation in rural Kobe

Live and work in beautifully restored Japanese townhouses

Whether you are a digital freelancer seeking small town refuge, a Tokyo executive strategizing with your team, or a family on your first trip to Japan, the Akiya Company is at your service.

More than a serene work space, the Akiya Company is a cultural hub that connects you more deeply with traditional architecture and the artisanal communities who help to restore them.

Accommodation

We take pride in carefully designing our modern accommodation spaces for you, which are all housed in beautifully restored country townhouses that were once abandoned.

We work with local craftsmen and source local materials during our builds in an effort to preserve Japan's traditional architecture and revitalize its rural communities.
